Year 6 had the fantastic opportunity to work with local artist Elizabeth Kane during Book Week to create their own inner mascot. An inspirational day was had by all as the children compared superheroes and mascots from around the world and discussed the important personal qualities needed to be a good artist: imaginative, curious, open-minded, creative and resilient, to name but a few. The children then created their own personal inner critic to champion their art practice, using a variety of clay modelling techniques.
