It is not every day that a school visit takes you to somewhere as thrilling as a chocolate factory.
But indeed, Year 4 stepped into the shoes of the well-known character, Charlie Bucket and headed to Davenport’s Chocolates to learn more about chocolate production and we dare say, taste some of their creations.
In lessons, Year 4 have been learning all about this delicious sweet treat, from learning about the discovery of cocoa in History, to measuring the effects of heat in Science, from learning fractions with Smarties, to reading Charlie and the Chocolate Factory in English, this is a creative curriculum at it’s finest (and tastiest!)
