In our second full week back at school we celebrated Languages Week. Children answered the register in different languages and talked about the importance of learning to communicate with people from other countries. We were amazed to discover how many languages are spoken within our school community and we enjoyed learning new phrases from our classmates.
There were European Languages Day assemblies for Key Stage One and Key Stage Two and in Languages Club children carried out research into other European countries and enjoyed 'Stroopwaffels' from the Netherlands.
