At NPS, every year group is set very high targets and kept very busy, but none more so than Year 6. Our tremendous group of resilient, bright and fun-loving children have had the most wonderful final year at school. Although they faced some tricky entrance exams in January, their results are testament to their hard work and determination. There is also a great amount of fun to be had in Year 6.
This term, we have been on an action-packed residential, visited Edinburgh on a day trip, put on an art exhibition, surfed and generally had a really fun time in school. Another highlight of the year was the leavers’ performance. This year, Year 6 took their family to their own festival – Leaverpalooza - to hear some top-notch singing, spectacular playing of musical instruments, see hilarious acting and join in on an emotional reflection upon their time at NPS. It was an evening to feel so proud of each and every child’s journey and recognise their individual talents.
We would like to wish all of our Year 6 leavers every success in their next school. They are perfectly equipped to take the next exciting step in their education journey.
