Visits to our very own Forest School is a highlight of the day for our children from Nursery through to Year 6.
At NPS we have 3 fully qualified Forest School leaders who provide an exciting programme of outdoor learning for all our children. Our class teachers also make the most of this space to make their subjects come alive. Whether it is storytelling around our campfire or making willow fences with exact measurements or designing and evaluating natural Christmas decorations, the Forest School has something for everyone. Understanding and respecting our natural world is an essential part of our curriculum. The love of the outdoors and the benefits that this can bring to individuals and communities is celebrated by all at NPS.
